Happy New Year!!!!

We had a very busy 2007, we moved from Nebraska

The babyshower, my girlfriend did the murals in the

nursery, we got our much awaited referral, we had

Allison's first birthday party. It was an amazing year

we have so much to be thankful for. I pray in 2008

there is some movement from the CCAA, I have

bloggy friends that are still awaiting their referrals

We have alot to look forward in 2008 as Kelly

will turn 50, we celebrate our 5th anniversary,

several of our friends will be seeing their childs

faces for the first time through birth and adoption.

We had so much fun at the Kings on
Saturday, we met lots of new family's
who have adopted from China and
who are in the process!!!! We cant
wait to hear of Leah's referral!!!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

Well it's been a while since I have last posted
First my camera has been on the fritz and we
have been quite busy!!!!! I have put together
a few slide shows documenting some of the
highlights of December 2007. We went over
to My Brother's house for his birthday and
then my Cousin's came over so we could snap
some pics of the little Cousin's. All I can say
about that is easier said than done!!!! This
last Saturday we saw my folks for an early
Xmas, we had a nice time, my Stepmom is
a good cook!!!! Christmas Eve is my MIL
Birthday so we took her out to eat and
then opened presents, which lasts about
2 hours. We were supose to go to Christmas
at my SIL Family and Allie had a low grade
fever so we decided to stay home. Needless
to say Christmas Day was very calm and I
missed seeing my family!!!!

I hope everyone in blogland and in my life
had a wonderful Christmas and has the greatest
New Year!!!!

On the weight thing, As of last week I
had lost about 11-pounds, I will weigh

The Cabbage Patch Doll I have been looking for since Februrary 2005!!!

So everytime we were out at Walmart, Costco, or even
stores in the Mid-West, I would be looking for any type
of Cabbage Patch Doll with the name Allison on it. So the
day of Allie's party my Cousin presented Kelly and I with
this beautiful Cabbage Patch Doll, that was special with
Allie's full name including her Chinese name and her real
date of birth. I thought that was so cool!!! I know there
must be other's out there wanting a doll like this and here

Milestones for Allie this week!!!!

Allie went to the Doctor this week,he said that she is
very healthy. She had 5 imunizations and she was a
real trooper. She is in the 10% for her weight. ( Not
such a big suprise) Height she was in the 75%. This
week she has really caught us off guard. Kelly was
changing her diaper and out of the blue she said
Sassie, that's the name of our Doggie. Then today
Kelly, Allie, and I were laying in bed and I starting
singing the A,B,C'D to her and she said A,B,C we
were so shocked. She is starting to talk some. We
just love hearing talk, she has a very sweet little
voice. This week also marked feeding her some
solids. She really likes Mac & Cheese at the Cracker
Barrel. My friend and I went to Chilpote's for lunch
and she loved the guacmole.

Well enough of my babble, I hope everyone has a
great & healthy week!!!! I am going to try and get
the slide show up of Allie's first birthday party!!!

Sindy's First 30-day's of weight loss!!!

I went to weigh in at La Weight Loss on Friday
And I was told I lost my first 10-pounds!!!
Needless to say I was very pleased.

My start was a 172
My goal is 138
Today I weigh 162

I can honestly say, I am not missing the sweets
to much, but the carbs I am missing!!!! Anyone
else out there trying to lose some weight??? I
know trying to lose during the holiday's is hard
but it can be done!!!!

Allie's Birthday Party!!!

We had Allie's first birthday party on 12/01/07
It was such a nice party. We had about 50 friends
and family there with us. She is one blessed little
Girl, We want to thank all of our friends and family
It meant alot to us that you could be there with us
to share such a milestone in Allie's life!!

So most everyone left that night except My
SIL and Cousin's who came in from Central
California, Kelly tells us his stomach is hurting
and has a headache!!! Well a few hours later that
was it, he was so thoughtful he went outside all
night and got sick, he didn't want to wake Allie
and I could hear him out there. My stomach was
achey all night. So Sunday morning it started to
hit me, but not as bad as Kelly, so I called Allie's
Auntie and Uncle and they took for her for the
whole day. Kelly will finally go back to work
on Wed. In the meantime my folks called yesterday
and they are sick, and My Nephew Jonah has the
stomach bug again, I spoke with my SIL tonight
and cousin Julie was not feeling good last night.

Please pray for my family as this stomach bug
is hitting our family like crazy!!!!! Kelly used his
sick time for this time, I pray we dont get it again!!!!

Allison's Special Day!!!!

Today was a wonderful day!!! We went to Kiddie Kandids,
Build A Bear , and had lunch with Grandpa Gore and Grandma
Ost. Auntie Sharaleen & Uncle Howard had a wonderful birthday
dinner for us too!!! Allie had a great time playing with her Cousins
tonight. I will go ahead and post some pics from today's photo
shoot. I took some pics tonight and will do a slide show later
this week!!!!

Thanks to all who signed the blog, and called Allie
today on her very special day!!!! It meant alot to

Happy birthday to my beautiful Daugher!!!! I sometimes cant
believe that you are here with us!!! I look forward to spending
